Type Series/Parallel Switch - ACCESSORIES FOR BOW AND REAR THRUSTERS Simple and time-saving installation The 160 kgf and 220 kgf Bow thrusters are only available with a 24 volt DC electric motor. By installing a series / parallel switch in a 12 volt on-board power supply system, it is possible to operate 24 volt Bow thrusters using 12 volt Batteries connected in series so that the required voltage of 24 volts is available. For charging, the 12 volt batteries are automatically connected in parallel and charged with the 12 volt charging system. Attachment The 285 kgf - 48 volt DC Bow bolts has a Standard series / parallel switch included to enable connection to a 24 volt battery bank. This 48 volt series / parallel switch is also available separately.
