Type HELM, Aluminum rudder arm - RUDER These rudder arms are available for rudder shafts with Ø 30, 40, 50 or 60 mm diameter. The connection to a Ø 30 or Ø 40 mm rudder shaft is made using 2 clamping bolts and screws, which are supplied as standard. The Ø 30 or 40 mm rudder arms are provided with 4 fixing points for the Control cylinder, making them suitable for a wide range of different hydraulic controls, e.g. for VETUS hydraulic cylinders MTC30, MTC52 and MTC72. The Ø 50 and 60 mm arms are fixed in place using 2 clamping bolts and a stainless steel wedge, which are also supplied. The Ø 50 or 60 mm arms have 3 fixing points and are therefore suitable for the VETUS Cylinders MTC125, MTC175 and MT230, among others. Suitable bolt sets are available as accessories for connecting these rudder arms to VETUS hydraulic cylinders MTC30 up to and including MTC175.
