Type Gas struts VETUS gas strut systems have been specially designed for maritime use. All essential parts are made of Stainless steel or plastic. A special seal ensures that no gas can escape, which guarantees a long service life. During installation, the piston rod must always point downwards. Gas cylinders enable Simple lifting and locking in the open position of heavy engine compartment hatches, locker lids, etc. The gas spring systems are supplied complete with fixing materials.
