Type FS - FUEL OVERFLOW PROTECTION The VETUS overflow protection model FS can be connected directly to a deck filler neck with a diameter of 38 mm or 51 mm The filler neck is not part of the standard scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.It ensures that the overflowing diesel fuel and foam does not escape from the deck inlet to the outside or contaminate the deck and outside water, but is collected cleanly inside the reservoir (with a capacity of approx. 2 liters) . Excess fuel flows back into the main tank via Connection (2). This connection also serves as a necessary tank vent. The vent line to the outside must be fitted to Connection (3) A VETUS diesel odor filter can also be installed in this vent line. If the diesel odor filter is positioned far above the deck, the vent line can exit below deck level if necessary.
