During the winter months, the battery is usually unused, so the Batteries have minimal self-discharge and you can be sure that the Motors will start up again the next season. We recommend using a trickle charger during winter storage. During a boating season, the Batteries must also meet various requirements. It must be able to withstand small but constant loads as well as short and heavy loads, for example when using a Bow thruster. VETUS offers 2 different battery types.
