VDO NMEA 2000® Level Sensor The new NMEA 2000® level sensor from Veratron overcomes a number of issues faced by traditional liquid level monitoring solutions, including certification for Drinking water - an industry first. The NMEA 2000® compatible level sensor is available in three models that cover a wide range of tank depths from 200 mm to 1500 mm. The capacitive sensor is easily switchable between fresh and waste water and can be precisely adjusted to the respective tank size. In contrast to reed technology, which only reports the tank level in graduated steps, the Veratron NMEA 2000 level sensor offers level linearity over the entire range thanks to capacitance measurement technology. This provides accurate data to make informed decisions about topping up and pumping out or draining up to 4 tanks. The Veratron sensor is fully plug-and-play and is simply connected directly to the backbone with its integrated Micro-C M12 5-pin NMEA 2000 connector. This provides nominal 12V power and the ability to display tank level from any networked display. The NMEA 2000 liquid level sensor is UL94, CE, REACH and RoHS compliant and is IPX9K rated as an exposed device. A unique mounting/dismounting concept simplifies cleaning procedures. Each sensor is supplied with a gasket set which includes a rubber gasket, mounting bracket, screws and Allen key.
