VDO & Veratron VDO NAVBOX

VDO - AquaLink NavBox The AcquaLink™ NavBox is the heart of the AcquaLink™ VDO Marine bus system. It acts as a CPU and signal interface. The Navbox offers numerous digital and analog input options. It supports up to four electronic Motors (J1939 or NMEA 2000®) or one analog Motor. In addition, the Navbox has connections for two VDO Marine Sumlog™ speed sensors and one analog VDO Marine wind sensor. Known VDO Marine products are thus also equipped for the digital age. The NAVBOX CAN READ THE FOLLOWING ANALOG DATA: - Engine oil pressure - Engine oil temperature - Cooling water temperature - Gearbox oil pressure - Fresh water, Gray water and fuel levels - Voltage - Rudder angle - Engine frequency - Battery current - Ammeter The Navbox also has an NMEA 0183 input and output port as well as an output for an Acoustic alarm. All received data is converted and sent to the NMEA 2000® network and the VDO Marine Bus. This gateway function enables the display of information for Motor, Fluid Level, Pressure, Temperature and other important parameters on any compatible display on the NMEA 2000® network or on the VDO Marine AcquaLink™ Instruments.
