PSS Niro-Rotor for 1 1/2' Shafts

The stainless steel rotor is slid over the Shafts and secured to the Shafts using the Grub screws, which are offset by 90° for maximum holding force. The use of computer-controlled lathes ensures a high accuracy of fit. The surfaces are perpendicular to the bore and have a surface finish of 9, ensuring that no water can escape when the rotor rotates. The rotor grinds the surface of the Carbon flange during the first few minutes of commissioning. By using 316L Stainless steel, the rotor should last a lifetime under normal conditions. Important note: Use the locking screws only once. There are two locking screws in each of the two holes of the stainless steel rotor. One locking screw secures the rotor on the Shafts and the second secures the first locking screw. The locking screws are made with a pointed collar at the base. This ring presses into the Shafts and thus ensures a secure hold.
