Plastimo - Buoy for regatta training This buoy was developed in collaboration with the French Tornado Olympic team and is therefore particularly suitable for training first-class regatta teams, for races or for regatta training in sailing schools. It can be used either as a drift buoy or as a traditional Regatta buoy and also offers the advantages of being less bulky and very easy to handle. - PVC 1100 Decitex: robust and hard-wearing. - Yellow, therefore highly visible. - Hardly drifts in the wind and remains in a vertical position thanks to the ballast and because a large part of the Buoys is in the water (52 cm). - Quick inflation and deflation: Buoy equipped with 1/4 inch valve (Halkey Roberts type), suitable for most bellows. - Simple to bring on board thanks to the numerous carrying handles. - Simple to transport : small size when folded. Ballast bag with Velcro closure for a ballast of approx. 14 kg (recommended weight, e.g. . stones, pebbles, ...) This bag also proves practical for stowing the excess anchor line so that the rudder blade or keel does not get caught in it. - Length : 1.88 m. - Diameter : 26 cm. - Weight : 2.7 kg.(without ballast). When the buoy is used as a classic Regatta buoy, the anchor line can be attached to the handle at the lower end of the buoy.
