Type philippi BLA The BLA charge equalizer provides charge equalization for batteries connected in series. The BLA always works when voltage differences occur between the 12 V battery blocks. This can be during charging or discharging or even when idling. The BLA works bidirectionally and is able to balance the charge in both directions, regardless of where the weak Batteries are located. The BLA can equalize a 24 V block, for higher-voltage systems several BLAs are connected in series, i.e. 2 pieces are required for a 36 V system and 3 pieces for a 48 V system.
