Hermetically sealed and weighing just 250 grams including Cables, the Hella marine Sea Hawk LED deck spotlight sets new standards in terms of energy saving, size, weight and service life. Its application possibilities on board, both indoors and outdoors, are almost unlimited. Due to its excellent energy efficiency, the Light shines with a considerable luminous intensity of 240 lumens of intense white light - and this with a power consumption of less than 3 W (<0.25 A at 12 V / <0.13 A at 24 V). The LED Sea Hawk floodlights, manufactured in New Zealand from high-quality, marine-grade materials, use a high-tech lens made of Grilamid, a highly impact-resistant plastic. This guarantees excellent resistance to shocks and vibrations. The housing is made of proven, impact-resistant plastic, which is also characterized by excellent UV resistance. Stainless steel 316 is used for the mounting brackets. To ensure absolutely watertight installation and reliable protection of the electric contacts, each Light is pre-wired with 2.5 m of tinned, two-core Marine cable. Integrated multivolt circuits protect against polarity reversal, voltage peaks and low battery voltages and guarantee reliable operation with constant light intensity over a voltage range of 9-33V DC. The Hella marine Sea Hawk lights equipped with precision optics are available with two different light distributions: The wide-beam version is particularly suitable for use at close range, in cockpits and on deck. The narrow-beam version (+/-10º) offers concentrated light distribution, e.g. as a saloon light or mast lighting.
