The first Propellers were produced over 25 years ago. Since then, it has been continuously developed to take advantage of modern manufacturing technology and testing facilities. The 2-blade Gori Folding propeller can be used for sailing yachts with Motors up to approx. 44 kW/60 hp. It is available in 7 sizes from 11.5"- 18" Ø for Shafts and Saildrives and can be supplied in right or left-handed versions. Blade synchronization The blade shape with toothing ensures synchronous blade movement at all times, thus minimizing vibrations when moving forwards and backwards. This results in correct pitch adjustment and optimum control under Motor. When sailing, the blades fold automatically to reduce drag to a minimum. Full speed when sailing Under sail, a Fixed propeller brakes more than most sailors realize. Independent tests have shown that the 2-bladed Gori Folding propeller reduces the water resistance of the Yacht by up to 35% in certain cases. This resulted in a speed increase of 1 kn. under sail. This speed increase varies depending on the boat length and displacement. The shape of the Folding propeller prevents seaweed, plastic bags and other flotsam from sticking to it while sailing. Full power in reverse Independent tests have shown that the efficiency of the 2-bladed Gori Folding propeller equals or even exceeds that of most 2- and 3-bladed rotary or folding propellers. The 2-bladed Gori Folding propeller gives you the optimum reverse thrust through a combination of the shape and profile design of the propeller blades combined with centrifugal force. This means that, unlike most other folding propeller types, the Gori folding propeller does not rely solely on centrifugal force to open the blades. Full power in forward motion Independent tests have also shown that the efficiency of the 2-bladed Gori folding propeller in forward motion exceeds that of most 2- and 3-bladed rotary blade and folding propellers. Saildrive propeller The hub of the Gori Saildrive propeller is equipped with a flexible core that has a shock-absorbing effect and separates the Propeller electrically from the Saildrive, as required by Motors manufacturers. A security system in the hub increases longevity and ensures maneuvering at all times. The Propeller has been designed for the most common Saildrives, such as Bukh, Sonic, Volvo-Penta (including 50S and 100S-Drive), Yanmar and Others.
