Digital Deep Sea CLA2000 AIS transponder

The new CLA2000 from Digital Yacht is the ultimate SOLAS and globally approved Class A AIS transponder for inland navigation. It is IP67 waterproof and weatherproof and features a fully integrated 5? high-resolution color display that supports a wide range of functions, including electronic chart navigation with optional C-Map MAX charting and AIS target management.

CLA2000 is used on SOLAS-mandated vessels over 300GRT as well as workboats, rescue services, inland waterway users, Ribs, large yachts and all users who want first-class AIS performance and security.

CLA2000 has optimized software for detecting AIS SART and MOB devices with a special symbol for this AIS class. When an AIS SART beacon activation is detected, an automatic alarm is activated. The target plot display also calculates the relative bearing of the device for Simple visualization of the target and rescue.

CLA2000 is equipped with a micro SD card reader, which is located behind a waterproof cover on the front. This supports software updates, data recording of AIS and position data to a blank chart and compatibility with C- Map MAX charts for optional detailed background display.

CLA2000 has an integrated wireless interface for sending AIS and position data to smartphones, tablets, PCs and MACs for use with third-party charting and navigation applications. It supports client mode, in which it can connect to an existing wireless network, or AP mode, in which devices can connect directly to the CLA2000. Up to 5 simultaneous/connected devices are possible.
