DESCRIPTION Digital Yacht's new WLN10 Smart NMEA to WiFi Gateway takes iPad and tablet integration even further afloat, with the ability to connect to existing GPS, AIS and instrument systems on board and transfer data wirelessly to an iPad or tablet -&nbsp, compatible apps enable display and calculation with real-time information. The WLN10 creates a secure, password-protected Wi-Fi network on board to populate the Boats with data.

connected to an AIS system, real-time AIS target positions and identity data are displayed on detailed electronic charts through compatible apps such as NavLink, TimeZero, iAIS, iSailor, Seapilot and hundreds more. The tablet becomes a fully-fledged navigation display.

new version of the WLN10 can now be programmed for NMEA 0183 data at 4800 or 38400 baud via the simple browser interface. For initial programming, simply log in to the IP address and you can set the baud rate, SSID and your password.&nbsp, It's not complicated programming! Through the web interface, you can also view NMEA data received for Simple troubleshooting of problems.

WLN10 Smart supports both UDP (for multiple connections) and TCP/IP interfaces for maximum compatibility with apps, so you can use a PC at the chart table with an iPad on deck. It is also bi-directional, so apps can control an autopilot when this feature is enabled.

Smart WLN10 has an NMEA0183 input that can be configured via the web interface. You can also use our SeaTalk to NMEA Adapter to connect SeaTalk instrument data directly to the WLN10 Smart. Now works with the popular Navionics Boating App for Apple iOS and Android to display GPS and AIS data on your Navionics charts.
