Digital Yacht SEATALK 1 to NMEA Converter

DESCRIPTION From the 1990s until around 2012, almost all Autohelm, Raymarine and some Raytheon products were built to SeaTalk Standard. SeaTalk is still widely used worldwide. Therefore, many boat owners are looking for a solution to convert SeaTalk to NMEA 0183 or to bring their SeaTalk data to a PC, Mac or Linux system.

E85001 converter from Raymarine is no longer available and although some instrument systems have NMEA 0183 interfaces, they do not always convert all data. Often, however, spatial restrictions also make networking difficult.

ST-NMEA converter from Digital Yacht is a small but very powerful device for bidirectional data exchange between a SeaTalk network and an NMEA network or NMEA device. Power is supplied from the SeaTalk network. The converter has a multi-transistor interface, optically isolated NMEA0183 data input and differential NMEA 0183 data output, which ensures reliable data exchange between SeaTalk and NMEA networks.
