DESCRIPTION A

Class B AIS transponder requires a separate GPS antenna (for regulatory reasons, all Class B devices must have their own GPS source) and a VHF antenna or a suitable VHF/AIS antenna splitter. The GV30 is a VHF/GPS combination antenna with two antenna cables (10m). The antenna has a standard 1-inch thread and is mounted using a deck or railing bracket.

10m-long Antennas cables are fitted with an FME mini connector that is barely thicker than the cable itself, so that the cable can be laid without any problems. The scope of delivery includes suitable TNC and BNC adapters for connection to our AIT2000.

GV30 is only 190mm high and 75mm in diameter, but is very powerful despite its compact size. It is also specially tuned to 162MHz (AIS frequency). You can also order the GV30 together with the AIT2000 in an economy package.
