are pleased to introduce the GPS160, a new high-performance positioning sensor with GPS, Galileo and Glonass satellite systems for exceptional positioning accuracy and redundancy.
TriNav technology allows you to use all three systems simultaneously for navigation. You can also program the GPS antenna with USB for a variety of modes such as individual GNSS operations (e.g. Galileo) as well as on-site output configurations. The latter includes update rate, NMEA sentence structure, etc.
TheGPS160 Antennas as USB variant includes a 5m USB cable. It is self-powered by the USB source (PC, MAC or Linux). During installation, a virtual COM port is created on the host PC so that navigation programs can receive position data. If a longer cable or the MOB function is required, it is best to use the GPS160 (Standard NMEA version) with our USB-NMEA adapter cable.
TheGPS160 supports GPS, Glonass and Galileo positioning. TriNav technology combines signals from all three systems to calculate the best possible fixed accuracy and reliability.
Galileois the new global navigation satellite system (GNSS) developed over the last two decades. , It combines the GPS and GLONASS systems and provides mariners with a third reliable positioning source. , It should be fully operational by 2020.
