Digital Yacht GPS160 NMEA 2000

We are pleased to introduce the GPS160. This is a new high-performance positioning sensor with GPS, Galileo and Glonass satellite systems for exceptional positioning accuracy and redundancy. The TriNav technology allows all three systems to be used simultaneously for navigation. In addition, the device can be programmed for a variety of modes such as individual GNSS operations (e.g. Galileo) as well as local output configurations. The latter includes the update rate, NMEA sentence structure etc. The GPS160 GPS Antennas NMEA 2000 version includes the Digital Yacht iKonvert NMEA 2000 Gateway. This allows Simple and flexible installation of NMEA 2000 without the need for cumbersome drop cables. In addition, a simple and thin 10m cable simplifies the connection from the GPS160 to the nearest point on the NMEA 2000 backbone for the iKonvert. In addition, the GPS160 supports an external MOB switch or device. When activated, a "synthesized" AIS MOB and SART MOB message is created at the NMEA output, with MOB identification with a local plotter. The GPS160 supports GPS, Glonass and Galileo positioning. We use TriNav technology to combine signals from all three systems. This allows us to calculate the best possible fixed accuracy and reliability.
