Digital Yacht AIT1500 CLASS B transponder

EAN: 081159830366
The regulations for the use of Class B transponders normally require the installation of a separate Antennas. The AIT15000, on the other hand, is an AIS transponder with an integrated GPS antenna. This is located in the compact housing and therefore offers a space and time-saving installation. This makes it perfect for smaller ships and Boats.
Thanks toan NMEA 0183 interface, it works easily with almost any AIS-capable chartplotter model. It also has a separate 4,800 baud output for transmitting GPS data to a VHF system. The device requires less than 2 watts of Electricity and can be operated with 12/24 Volt on-board voltage. In silent/mute mode, its own AIS transmitter is switched off, while AIS data from Other vessels continues to be received.
The AIT1500 can be programmed
via aUSB interface or used as a computer-controlled navigation system. This makes it compatible with both the NavLink app and the SmarterTrack PC software program from Digital Yacht. As the GPS signals penetrate plastic, Glasses and fiber-reinforced plastic, the AIT1500 can also be mounted below deck in many cases. However, this requires a separate VHF antenna or a suitable antenna splitter such as the SPL2000.
AIT1500 can also be networked with the WLN10 data server or AquaWear WLN20 gateway to transmit data to a tablet or iPad.
