DESCRIPTION Our

AIS receiver with NMEA and USB is an excellent entry-level model for networking with PC software and chart plotters, for example with models from Garmin, Raymarine, Navico, Standard Horizon and Furuno. As soon as you connect the existing VHF antennas (via a splitter) or a suitable AIS antenna, you can detect all AIS targets within a range of up to 30 nautical miles.

Networking with a PC takes place via a plug-and-play USB connection. The receiver uses the standard drivers in Windows XP, Vista and 7 and a virtual COM port for data exchange is automatically assigned. Also compatible with Mac OS X and all Linux kernels from version 2.4.20.
