SmarterTrack is the ideal PC navigation software package for anyone using a chartplotter equipped with Navionics Gold or Platinum. It is also perfect for anyone who is new to electronic charts and is looking for an easy-to-use program that supports AIS. Whether planning at home, at the chart table or as a backup system, SmarterTrack turns your computer into a fully featured navigation system. The package displays all your GPS position and all AIS targets in the area on the detailed Navionics charts. AIS includes color-coded AIS targets as well as individually selectable AIS target labeling. It also provides you with CPA and TCPA alerts, visual CPA alerts, a true-to-scale display of AIS targets and many other useful features. With SmarterTrack, you can easily perform routine navigation tasks such as route planning, checking local and general tide and weather data (GRIB). In addition, the software supports Navionics SonarChart, a bathymetric chart that displays even more detailed depth contours of the water bottom. The software is constantly being improved by users contributing their own sonar logs. With our Aqua Marine PCs, SmarterTrack can also be used with apps such as Splashtop via the built-in WLAN adaptor, where the display is mirrored on an iPad or tablet. Navionics charts can now also be saved to the PC hard drive. This allows plotters and computers to use the charts simultaneously. The Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G and Humminbird chartplotters also work with Navionics charts, making SmarterTack the ideal counterpart to your chartplotter.
