Connection: M16x1.5 for 8mm pipe Functionality The straight screw connections, or rather screw connection with cutting ring, are used to adapt the Separate screw connections from Lössing Filterproduktion GmbH to piping systems. 1. Screw the screw connection into the Separate screw connections. Sealings are provided by a pre-assembled O-ring. 2. Push the pipe with the appropriate outer diameter into the screw connection as far as it will go. 3. Tighten the union nut. The screw connection (see point 1.) must be locked with a suitable wrench and secured against twisting. 4. When the union nut is tightened, the edges of the cutting ring are pressed into the pipe due to its geometry. The cutting ring thus forms a tight, positive connection with the pipe. As an alternative to fixed piping, hose nipples can also be connected to the fitting.
